Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park Visitor Center
Address: 450 Auburn Avenue, NE, Atlanta, GA 30312
This Atlanta park preserves the neighborhood where Martin Luther King Jr. was born and raised: his boyhood home on Auburn Avenue, Ebenezer Baptist Church where he and his father preached, and the King Center, where he and Coretta Scott King rest beside an eternal flame.
Stand in the church where Dr. King preached, tour his birth home by ranger program, and visit the King Center; young kids can earn a Junior Ranger badge. For a challenge, walk the full Sweet Auburn district and explore the civil rights exhibits at the visitor center and Freedom Hall.
