Pearl Harbor National Memorial Visitor Center
Address: 1 Arizona Memorial Drive, Honolulu, HI 96818
On December 7, 1941, Japan's surprise attack on Pearl Harbor killed more than 2,400 Americans, sank twelve ships, and pulled the United States into World War II; the USS Arizona still lies in the harbor with more than 900 of her crew, oil still rising slowly from her hull.
Ride the Navy boat to the Arizona Memorial and explore the visitor center museums. For a challenge, add the submarine USS Bowfin and the full remembrance circle along the harbor for a complete day of reflection.
