César E. Chávez National Monument

Nuestra Senora Reina de la Paz in the Tehachapi foothills was the headquarters of the United Farm Workers and the home of Cesar Chavez, whose strikes, fasts, and marches won historic gains for America's farm workers. Chavez and his wife Helen are buried in the memorial garden here.
