Address: King Salmon Visitor Center, King Salmon Airport, King Salmon, AK 99613

The Alagnak is a 64-mile wild river flowing to Bristol Bay through some of the richest salmon country on Earth, drawing grizzly and black bears to its banks each summer and fall. People have fished here for at least 9,000 years, leaving stone tools in old campsites along the river.

Fish for salmon and watch bears feed in the shallows on a guided trip. For a challenge, strong paddlers can take on the ultimate trip: a multi-day float and fishing expedition down the full length of the river.
