Laurance Rockefeller donated the land for this park covering most of St. John: white-sand beaches like Trunk Bay with its underwater snorkeling trail, rainforest trails past the stone ruins of Danish sugar plantations like Annaberg, and coral reefs teeming with life.
Follow the underwater trail at Trunk Bay, explore the Annaberg ruins, and swim the beaches; young kids can earn a Junior Ranger badge. For a challenge, hike the Reef Bay Trail through the jungle to petroglyphs and a remote beach.
