Augustus Saint-Gaudens, America's greatest Gilded Age sculptor, summered and then lived at this Cornish, New Hampshire estate, the heart of the Cornish Colony of artists; here he shaped the Shaw Memorial and the standing Lincoln, and the gold double eagle coin. His studios, gardens, and original bronzes remain.
Tour the sculpture-filled grounds and try art activities in the studio gardens. For a challenge, take the full studio tour, walk the nature trails, and hear a summer concert on the lawn.
