Abraham Lincoln grew from a seven-year-old boy to a young man of 21 on this Indiana farm between 1816 and 1830, splitting rails and reading by firelight. His mother Nancy Hanks Lincoln lies in the Pioneer Cemetery here, and a living historical farm recreates the 1820s homestead with cabins, crops, and animals.

Meet the farm animals, watch costumed interpreters at work, and visit Nancy Hanks Lincoln's grave. For a challenge, hike the Trail of Twelve Stones and the Lincoln-era trails, tracing the land that shaped the future president.
