Biscayne National Park is 95 percent water: a shallow turquoise bay south of Miami sheltering mangrove shorelines, the northernmost Florida Keys, and part of the world's third-largest coral reef, with 500 years of shipwrecks preserved on the Maritime Heritage Trail.

Spot fish from the Convoy Point jetty, take a glass-bottom boat tour, and paddle the mangrove shoreline. For a challenge, snorkel or dive the underwater shipwreck trail or paddle to Elliott Key to camp.
